Gun Creek HRC
The Gun Hunting Retriever Club is affiliated with UKC (United Kennel Club). The club works together to train retrievers of all breeds to be well-behaved hunting companions and to compete in hunting tests sponsored by the national organization of Hunting Retriever Clubs. The HRC is dedicated to and ran by hunters for hunters. The dogs do not compete against one another but against a standard of performance in three levels at the local level and on a higher level at the Grand Hunting Retriever Test held twice a year. These tests are ran under realistic hunting conditions on both land and in the water.
Our club meets once a month at a local restaurant to plan activities and to prepare for our two Hunt Tests, that are held in the Spring and the Fall.
Anyone who is interested in learning more about our organization or about training your dog feel free to contact us or come watch a test sometime.
